The Matrix Reloaded

;860451']Why do the BBFC have such a problem with Head Butts?

I have noticed a few videos / DVRAB that have been edited to cut them out and quite frankly it pisses me off.

One of My Stargate SG1 DVRAB is supposed to have a head butt in it, but it is cut out, badly, and to be honest there are other scenes in that episode that are just as graphic or more so.

Also, I have a copy of Judge Dredd on video (yes I know, don't start :p ) in it there is a head butting scene, Judge whatshername lays a Glasgow Kiss on another woman. In the film the head butt is edited out, yet on the same tape, in the Making of program, the same scene is shown intact. What's up with that?

Back on Topic, I have an R4 copy of the Matrix and that is uncut.

Here in Spain the new Matrix film has a 7 certificate so can you imagine how annoying it is to sit through this brilliant film listening to kiRAB farting around especially during the sex scene

I think murraymint's just got a bit confused, as the chance of Revolution's even being finished yet is low and he refers to there being a cliff hanger for the Matrix Revolutions.

You've got them the wrong way round! :D

As a cinema employee and someone who has just seen Revolutions, I think it does deserve the 15 rating. quite graphical depiction of sex, semi-nudity, fighting (little or no blood though) and mild swearing.

However, I must say that it is not everything I expected it to be. It is slow for the first half, but after a certain point (yes, you can pinpoint it exactly) It gets a lot better. Such a good cliffhanger for Matrix Revolutions as well. The ending really turns the whole 'Matrix Universe' thingy on it's head as you realise that everything we have been led to believe was not quite entirely accurate.

Oh, and to anyone under 15 who is thinking of sneaking in to see it, if you come to the cinema I work at, I will take great delight in refusing to sell tickets to you - if your local cinema does sell tickets to you and you are underage then they are at risk of losing their licence. If you are that desparate to see it, download it from the net or buy it on VCD from some dodgy retailer.

i believe that Neo is a program designed to destroy the matrix like a virus in a way to corrupt the system. thats why at the end he was able to stop those robots cos that is a earlyr failed matrix. or is its just a failed matrix and he is super human

wat u gotta do if u work in a cinema is take the piss a bit and as they walk thru foyer you say to them " you just missed the Revolutions Trailer" ( if u didnt know its after the 7 min credits)

BATMAN was a 15's.... now, Batman is a child's superhero.

I saw that at the pictures when i younger... can't remember how old but must of been younger then 10... i was with my Mum and my younger brother..

Such a dissapointing sequel. Such high hopes, such failures. Toss story, inferior acting, awful script, too many fights that are just there to show off and only to show off. Terrible. Story twist and freeway chase saved the film. Agent Smith as comic relief? How wrong on so many counts can this film be? The third should hopefully make amenRAB.

The swerve at the end where Neo stops the sentinals in the "real world" shows that there might be a Matrix within the Matrix, that the Neo that is now in a Coma is possibly another "chosen one" from a sub-matrix. Confusing? Yep!

Im VERY annoyed that I forgot all about the Revolutions trailer that is after the credits. Is it available anywhere on the 'net?

it was never going to be better than the original as there was so many new things introduced in the original and there was no way they could match that in the sequel. plus reloaded is only half the film. it would have been two long have one five hour movie.

the other man on the table lying next to neo at the end might be the original agent who neo apparently killed in M1.
Just a rumour I've heard but the evidence backs it up well :)
Yeah,I didn't see the trailer to,I didn't know about it till a few days after I saw the film.

Have a look on this site for it,i just remembered a link as i remembered them putting up the animatrix films.

[edit]

You're in look,it's on there!

You need quicktime to play it,if you've not got it,it's free and they've got a link on there to it.

Anyone who says the special effect were amazing obviously didn't see the same movie as me (or watched it on a poor download). They were terrible! Every time a fight scene started everyone looked so obviously computer generated. All the flesh tones lost all their depth.

Totally totally awful. I won't be bothering with the next one. Go see Equilibrium instead.

Well, having watch The Matrix tonight on five, I must ask where the cut headbutting scenes are.

There were 2 parts, if not 3 in the film where several headbutts were exchanged. I dont think five cut them out, although they sped up the end credits and squashed them something chronic.

Padzter :D

Um, there were always going to be 3 movies. It was *always* a trilogy. They haven't made this to cash in, they made it tell the story, duh.

I dunno what you're on about, most of the fight scenes are really people, just jumping around on strings etc. Maybe you're just being too picky. Try and see the 'Making of Reloaded' tv show that has been on itv a few times.

If its out in November, the movie has definetly finished filming, and there are some very lucky people in this world have have already seen a rough draft of it. Not me tho :(

Went to see this film last night - what an absolute pile of steaming sh*te!

Just an opportunity to make loaRAB of money - the original film had a proper ending and completed the story but in true Hollywood style they see a cashcow and the dollar signs take over!
