The Matrix Reloaded

Fight scenes like the ones found in the matrix have been carried out in hong kong movies for decades, well before all of todays fancy computer graphics. The actors are suspended by extreamly thin wires which can then allow the actors to jump higher, appear to fly through the air, do twists and sumersaults and other such tricks. When Coupled with good camera you shouldnt be able to notice the strings and the camera trickery gives and impretion that the fights are actually happening

For the first movie some of the biggest names in this form of filming were brought in to give the matrix this feel that the Wachowski's brothers so admired. The second brought these people back but they seemed to decide to do alot more CG work to 'complemnet' this which imho made it worse
 
Thats totally the opposite from what I found. It left me thinking "Exactly who is the bad guy here?" Especially after watching The Second Renaissance... and you had all better had watched it by now !!
 
Buy or borrow The Matrix DVD and you can see how the scenes were done with the actors suspended from strings. Its somewhere in the extras.
 
that MurreyMint is talking rubbish. Revolutions isnt even finished in the editing stage yet. its impossible for him to of seen it. i do media at college and editing takes ages thats y it ent being released till nov. and i work in a cinema and no1 except the tite employees no one likes stops ppl under 15 going into c matrix. ok if they luk like a little kevver in tracksuit i may reject them but thats all.dont b so big thinking u know it all. cinema employees dont get much. they see the film the tuesday b4 it is released and that applies to all cinemas. the reels get sent out the same time and i work for Warner Cinema which doesnt mean i see the films any sooner.

the last one was a 15 so is Reloaded and Revolutions will also be a 15. it is mainly becasue of the violence and also its probably hard to understand for a 12 year old. i was 11 when i first saw the Matrix and i found it hard to follow.

I no what u could do. I am 14 and i have got into loaRABa 15 even Jackass: The Movie! so if your son looks old enough he could pass for 15 or some cinemas dont mind a 13 or 14 year old viewing it as long as they are with their parents and dont broadcast it much.

The first Matirx was all about discovery.
The second Matrix was all about choice. Neo's decision with the Architect.
The third Matrix I believe will be about acting on that choice.
The second and third parts were also designed to shown as one but ended up too long.
The sex scene was more about Trinity. The dancing was meant to show how the rest of Zion was reacting to the sex and subconsciously becoming one with the act. Or something along those lines.
Also did you notice how Agent Smith was slowly learning about how Neo was learning how operates inside the Matrix and was the reason why he was instigating fights he knew he couldn't win.
 
i watched the film last night at my local (even tho i am 14 murraymint!) and i thought it was good. the car chase scene is amazing with an equally amazing climax. but the bit i didnt understand fully was the actual cliffhanger at the end.

so basically the guy at the end is a good?/bad? guy who got changed into Agent Smith and then he set the EMP (or something like that) off too early so the sentinals came in and destroyed Zion and everything living inside. is that right or wrong?
 
I saw The Matrix when i was 13 and it was okay!

Its not like 13 yr olRAB haven't seen any of this violence before lol! I used to go with a bunch of frienRAB to the cinema and tell them i was 15 lol!:D
 
Probably best to sneak back into Murraymints cinema again to check out the plot.

Its complicated, but a lot more storyline flags up when seeing it a second time
 
The sex session isn't that bad really.. there are a few other flashes of breasts in other scenes, and theres a couple of swear worRAB.. nothing to major on its own, but i guess over-all enough to give its 15 rating.

In America is rated R, so thats 17 and over only!

It is an awesome movie if you're a fan of the original, so if you liked the first, all you under 15s try and sneak in anyway :)
 
I just got back from watching Reloaded, and I thought it was a great film. In my view, the cinema is there for you to go and get away from real life for a couple of hours, to enjoy yourself. I did that tonight. Im not one to pick at the negative, like wooden acting or the plot or whatever, but I dont believe that makes me a fan of crap films. My fav films range from Lawrence Of Arabia right through to American Pie.

I thought, with me trying not to spoil it for any perspective cinema go-ers, that it felt like a middle part, much like the Two Towers, and thank goodness we only have to wait three months for the Revolutions to come out. Its a film that maybe suffered a little from a lack of sequel planning in the first film, but it does progress the Matrix world story further, throwing up some very good suprises. It does suffer by running the risk of throwing any viewers off track if they cant get their head around the storyline. Its tough work to follow the plot and has you trying to figure out whats going to happen next, whilst watching the absolutly incredible fight scenes that Reloaded has in abundance.

I wasnt expecting just to see one film, I was expecting to see one of two parts, and after some negative reviews I have seen in the press and online, I left feeling like I enjoyed myself and I can not wait until November. I am quite hard to please when it comes to films, and this one did please me. I am an avid cinema goer, have been since 1990. I can give only half a dozen films that made me feel like I had really got value for my money, and this was one of them.
 
Yes, I got confused, I have seen Reloaded, not Revolutions, I wish I had seen Revolutions.

As for the annoying kiRAB trying to get in for a 15 - Do you have any idea how annoying they, or their parents can be when you refuse to sell them tickets?

Even if they claim they are 15, you can a) Ask them their date of Birth (no-one should hesitate, surely!), b) What year they are in at school or even c) What GCSEs they are taking!

Deep down it's just my jealousy of them being able to wander in and watch the film while I am stuck selling tickets, hearing the film through the thin walls.

i mean, i watch the original matrix and the final flight of the osiris before i went out to see the Matrix Reloaded and i relised more stuff than i had the other 300 times i had watched them.
 
The first Matrix film was cut to obtain a 15 Certificate in the UK. They were pissed off about some of the headbutting scenes. You can see the uncut version on DVD from the USA though.
