The Matrix 1, 2 and 3.

[Real Deal]

Hey I just wanted to start a thread about the Matrix and the two upcoming sequels to the original.

I thought that the Matrix is one of the best films ever. Some say that it is a male film but it really is not.

Now, we all know that the two sequels (Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions) are coming out this year and I, for one, am really looking forward to it. Matrix Reloaded is out on May 23rd and the Matrix Revolutions is out November 7th (These dates may change of course).

So, anyway, what are your thoughts on the Matrix 1, 2 or 3? Please post below....

PS. This is my 100th post on the rabroad Forum since November 2002 and I have high respect for thiese forums because of the content and the way they are run smoothly. Thankyou it has been a very enjoyable time and more will come soon.

"A male film"? Well I hated it! All wonderful special effects and very little plot.

I'll be giving the sequels a miss!

I had to watch the Matrex 3 times before I could finaly understand it.

A really great film though!!!!! Cannot wait to see how the next two follow on!

Well I am 100% female and I loved the film, especially the lobby scene which sounded fantastic on the home cinema kit.

I didn't realise Matrix 2 was out so soon, cannot wait!

The matrix was just one of those films that we couldn't stop talking about. Dark and Beautiful at the same time. My biggest regret is that i never saw it on the big screen Keanu Reeves isn't my favourite actor by Lawernce Fishburn and Hugo Weaving are fantastic. If you get the chance anyone who liked the Matrix should see a film called 'Dark City'. Its kinda similar, ability to change the world, make it what you want it, reality is a deception ect... It came out before the Matrix however. Perhaps an influence on the Wachowski brothers work?!
