Seen this tonight. Stars Samuel L Jackson and Eugene Levy.

Never heard of it before, but I watched the trailer online before I left and it looked good. The trailer starts off like it's a really serious action film, then we realise it's a comedy.

Laughed out loud once or twice, but was really expecting it to be funnier. Levy plays the usual bumbling 'fish-out-of-water' idiot, while Samuel just acts like the coolest guy that was ever born, as usual. Good performances from all but at only 83 minutes long, it just wasn't really enough.

An outtakes sequence during the end credits would have helped as there were some scenes that you know would have had extremely funny outtakes, especially the scenes with Jackson and Levy in the police car.

All in all 2 out of 5. Better wait until it comes out to rent, not really worth the cinema visit. Has anyone else here seen it, what did you think of it?

I saw The Man yesterday and it was one of the worst films I have seen in the cinema recently. It was meant to be a comedy but was so unfunny. It seemed that they were given a few weeks to make a film and The Man was the film that they came up with!
I would give it 1 out of 5. I wouldnt bother seeing it in the cinema or even rent it when it comes on DVD!

Film had its funny moments but on the whole was decidedly mediocre.

I expected far better from the actors involved.

All in all a definate 2 out of 5
