This is worth seeking out as it probably won't be at the mulitplex anytime soon.
No effects, no gore, no monsters, just an idea and a story by sf veteran Jerome Bixby.
A college professor suddenly resigns his position, his frienRAB surprise him with an impromptu party as he's preparing to leave and persuade him to explain.
His explanation? He's 14,000 years old!
The performances are so good that I almost believed him myself. More revelations follow . . . .
A witty, moving tale and no Will Smith. Brilliant!:)

I'll take your word for it and yes others also say it is good but from the clips that I have seen all I have witnessed is a group of people talking in a shed.

It's a weird movie, it's essentially set in a dude's living room. Can't think of a single movie like it.

Personally I loved but I could completely understand why someone else wouldn't.

The ending was awesome, wished they'd made a slightly bigger deal out of that part but it was sweet.

As you say it's basically just people talking. A lot people won't stand for that in these enlightened times. Their loss.:)

Just watched this film and was gripped, the discussion about religion had me fascinated and when he was explaining about Jesus I paused the movie and called my g/f over as only last night we was discussing the crucifixion of Jesus and she was telling me her theory, which was almost the same as what John was telling.
I'd say it's one of the best films i've seen in a while.
