Can't wait for this to come out, was such a moving book. I'm sure Peter Jackson will work his magic and it will be as great as the rest of his movies!!

Oh my goodness. That is a gorgeous poster. :jaw_drop: I kind of want to see the movie now. Heh! I have a feeling it's going to be so amazing. :sigh: Phew!

Thanks for sharing that, I hadn't seen it anywhere.

I love trailers before the movies too! :D

I just got the book form my local library

Just read 3 pages so far, the good thing is i have got into the book, i am usually a person that if i cant get into a book from the 1/2 pages then i leave it

I can so picture Saoirse Ronan as Susie whilst reading it :)

I'm looking forward to this movie! But I'm going to try to not expect too much.

Hopefully I'm not disappointed. I'm happy for the Peter Jackson connection (he has done well with all the movies he's been attached to, I love Heavenly Creatures the most) and we some talented actors involved.

I agree, I love that the book was told from Susie's perspective. I can't wait for this movie to come out! :yay: I started reading the book but never had the time to finish it. I should probably try to finish it now before the movie comes out.

It doesn't hurt to read the book.

I think it might give you a more detailed back ground of everyone.

It's a very emotional book and the movie looks so as well, as it should be.

It's a very extraordinary story through Susie's eyes. The book is so well written and such a sad story. I'm definitely glad they made it into a movie. When I was reading the book, I imagined it as a movie. It's such a heart felt story, and the sad thing is, things like that happen in real life, and it's such a different perspective when you see the story told from the eyes of the deceased victim.

The trailer is amazing. I'm super stoked for the movie. I remember loving the book but it has been so long since I've read it, so I think I'll re-read it soon.

The book lovers lucked out with getting Peter Jackson! :yay: So many adaptations have been disappointing, but this looks to be a winner.

I just watched the trailer, ... and then rewatched it , ... and then rewatched it :thud:

I dont remember the book being this awesome  I am so excited for the movie, Saoirse is extremely talented so itll be amazing to watch her as Susie :sigh:

I dont know whether i should read this or just wait for the movie - its looking good

I'm SO excited to see this, it looks amazing! I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it looked before I watched the trailer, but the trailer was amazing and it gave me goosebumps too. Oh, and I read the book last year, loved it too.

I read the book, which was amazing.

So, of course I'm going to compare the two.

But the movie looks really really good. Even though it's a little bit different.

You can tell by the previews that they changed it a bit, but they definitely spiced it up and the acting looks fantastic. I can't wait to see it. :yay:

Agreed! I don't think you need to read the book to enjoy it. It looks like it's a really well-made film. I'm glad Peter Jackson got to do it; he's a great director.
