I heard some bad news about Haim appearing on a bad condition at the Lost Boys sequel set, and they decided to cut him out of the movie... It's sad, this guy will never be recovered?? I really loved him! It's such a pity all that's happening with him...
 
This is one of my fave movies of all time. i have it on VHS but I can't wait to get the DVD.
 
I can't wait for the SE DVD. It looks awesome.

A sequel could have been good but only if the original surviving cast returned.
 
I was at comic con today and I was a little booth for the next Lost Boys movie. It looked pretty good.
 
OMGG I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE this movie . I have it on VHS, didnt know they are coming out with a special addition that really excites me lol.
I loved everything about this movie , WHAT A CLASSIC!!! Corey Haim was sooooooooooo hot in this movie :) yum. Some parts that really stand out in my mind are when Sam is singing in the bathtub lmao , I love when hes hitting all the high notes ahah...the script was just soooo great and soo funny. Theres just so many classic quotes from that movie..
The Frog Brothers were just hilarious and he grandpa was great. I love when hes in the car with Sam and hes all" This is as close to town as I like to get" oh man i could go on about this movie forever
 
Actually, it had both of the Coreys.

I also loved the film and saw it multiple times when it first came out (including a midnight showing on Halloween). Favorite characters? Grandpa ("There are RULES") and Nanuck the dog. I've got one of the original movie posters (thanks to knowing a guy at the cinema), the original movie sountrack (on vinyl) and a VHS copy of the movie. Now that I know what date the Special Edition DVD comes out, I'll be getting that as well.
 
as far as i know both the coreys and jamison newlander (alan frog) will be returning, but they will be the only of the original cast. i dont think i will see it though. you just cant beat the original! one of the best films ever!
 
This movie is an absolute classic. The music is also great. I always thought that they should have made a sequel. It would have turned out great if they kept the original cast. (Except those who died)
 
okay, star, jamie gertz's character. i was looking at your name and thinking of the film star 80. yup, it's been way too long since i've watched this. :blush:

i'm curious, what is included in the new version of the film? & i am going to investigate now, and probably order it while i'm at it. ;)

speaking of the music, when they are at the concert, the sax player with the muscles, i SWEAR i saw the same guy years later playing with tina turner's band!
 
I heard that he was too! Both of the Coreys are back! I cant wait to see the new one! I used to love this movie so much when I was a kid! :sigh:
 
This is one of my all time favourite movies. You wouldn't believe the squeal of excitement I let out when I found out about the SE DVD in Empire this afternoon...I already own the original edition on DVD but an SE...it's an absolute must.

Totally in love with Corey Haim. :love:

Btw, if anyone is interested, I own the Lost Boys Characters fanlisting so it'd be nice to plug it around FF. ;)
 
Ive seen half of the new movie. serious i don't like it. maybe next time i'm going to watch it full. but really i till half of it i HATED it. it wasn't as great as the first one. but thats always. the first one is the best. for now my opinion is that the new one is a waste of time. and i allready seen it in DVD quality.
 
My user name is from this film. When I joined about a million years ago, I really wanted her wavey hair! I can't quite believe I just admitted that. :D
Anyway, great film, and I was totally in love with Corey Haim and Jason Patric.

Oh my god - I freakin' LOVE this movie! I remember seeing it in NYC the summer it came out (I'd just graduated from college).

I'm from the Bay Area and have gone to the Boardwalk so many times ever since I was little (it's been around for more than 75 years), so this was really nostalgic for me.

Plus, pretty boys in leather and chains - what could be better! :P

there's a special edition coming out? great! i love this flick.

and i couldn't decide (at the time) between keiffer and jason either. you, me, and julia roberts.

now there's no question, keiffer sutherland wins hands down, he is very good at his craft.
