I personally don't enjoy them, I think they're a mess of sound, but there's a certain charming experimental quality about them that draws people in.

the truth is, The Locust sound like a swarm of insects. they look like a swarm of insects too.

the actual term mathcore i find rediculous. considering banRAB like faraquet and don caballero are math, i cant understand how anyone could muster up the term mathcore and be serious.

Epitonic usually doesn't get the label correct. They are not mathcore. Regardless, they are pretty good.

i found some more songs. theres a video for one, and one on a myspace for the locust. they both pwned, and both were less than a minute long.

Locust are great live. Seen them twice, you really have to pay close attention to hear what they are going for as far as the rythems theyre playing. All in all, id recommend checking them out if you get a chance, its an experiance to say the least. Last time I saw them was with Fantomas. Awesome show.

I like them but sometimes I find that their songs seem too busy to fully wrap my head around before they end. I definitely have to be in the kind of mood where I want to sit down and actually analyze music.
