I just don't know what to say I guess, But if you a fan of Lebron James take a look at this promo trailer right below this link:

We put the stereo back in stereotype. I don't have to watch this cartoon, I can just look at the picture and the plots and situations play out in my head.

Don't know much about LeBron, but this does sound somewhat interesting, what with multiple versions of him interacting and what not. I'll check this out to see how well they can actually pull it off.

Well I like the designs, but I personally would've preferred if Shaq and the Super Lakers was greenlit instead. Too late for that though.

Oh LaBron, you spoil us.

He used to be the gold standard, but he's bought into his own hype and his ego is out of control.

He should be in a cartoon called "Fallen Angels" with Brett Favre and Tiger Woods.
Actually, now that I think of it, before things went kaput Tiger did have the most gorgeously animated commercial ever.

And Lance Armstrong, if SI's latest story is true... the steroid rumors are growing again.

As for this... stupidity... what can really be said? Has LeBron's ego grown to the point where he needs to talk to himself four ways? Pass.

This looks like it's based on that Nike campaign from a few years ago. I don't know why they'd make an animated series based on it, it seems like something people would have forgotten about by now.

On the surface, this looks really terrible.

...and honestly, why does it even exist to begin with? As a means to stroke LeBron's massive ego (as if that isn't already being done enough), or yet another pathetic attempt at trying to market professional sports to children through animation?

I sincerely hope no TV network ever has the nerve to actually pick this up in the future (I'm looking at you, CN; DON'T DO IT). This should forever be confined to the internet, and nothing more.

Regrettably, if anyone were to pick this up it would probably be CN (an implicit tie-in with corporate sibling TNT's NBA coverage most likely).

It would probably flop, though.

Stupid question for someone who doesn't follow sports: Why are people saying LeBron has a massive ego? What specifically has he done?

LeBron James had been, for the better part of a decade, the star player of the Cleveland Cavaliers. He became a free agent after the 2009-10 season, then he went on ESPN in an hour named "The Decision" to announce that he was going to play for the Miami Heat. The act of using an hour of a prominent television channel's time to announce something that could be stated with much less overblown fanfare has drawn him a lot of hate.

Seriously  How big is this guys ego? First he has an hour long special on ESPN where he tells the world what team hes going to sign with, and now hes making an animated series about himself.

This feels like one of those animated segments you would see on Saturday Night Live, or MAD. Considering how much of a fan I'm of LeBron, I don't think I'll be watching this.

Going further about "The Decision," it was said that the answer would be revealed in the first five, ten minutes of the show. It was relentlessly, agonizingly drawn out for the entire hour. Not to mention how Cleveland got spit in the eye by the hometown hero, big time.

Much like Speedy Boris, I'm not a sports fan, but I got plenty of LeBron's ego. As a New Yorker (dmx, can you vouch here as well? I'm sure it wasn't just for me here in Manhattan) I was subjected to weeks of "C'MON LEBRON!" campaigning with the obnoxious tagline "Bring the world's greatest athlete to the world's greatest city!" Now, I think New York is the world's greatest city, but... LeBron's ego makes the Empire State Building look pretty petite these days.

I'm not a defender of LBJ or the Decision but his answer wasn't drawn out. He revealed it around the 13 minute marker. The rest of the hour was total fluff and ego stroking but he did reveal it pretty close to the ten minute marker...so I guess I can give him that:sweat:

As for the cartoon, it's probably the least egotistical thing he's done in the last year so it doesn't bother me. I like the designs but business Lebron I thought at first was some kind of pimp. Plus I'm confused is he 4 people or are 3 of them imaginary? Anyway when was the last time an athlete got his own cartoon? Has to be the first since the early 90s.

I'm looking forward to this mainly because I'm hoping internet animation like this will pave the way to more in the future.
More than usual, of course.

I don't think anybody is a fan of LeBron James outside of Miami Heat fans.

He's a doosh, but he's still a top 2-3 bball player though. Rather watch the actual NBA games rather than any of his pathetic attempts at branding himself.
