Next time your mother starts saying hateful things about your dad, reel back and slap her as hard as you can in the face. Then tell her to stop being a spiteful crack whore and be a goddamned human being for once in her life. Then the next time she's doing drugs, call the cops and have her arrested. The last thing you need while trying to take care of an ailing parent is another parent causing all kinds of problems like that.

I really wish I could do that, Tost. I mean, I'd love to smack my mother but she needs help just as much as my father does. But I'm tired of supporting them and being a part of it. Soon they won't have me around to clean up after them anymore and I'm not going to make any messes for them before I go.
