Why do we have to wait until September to see this!!!!???!!!!

Its out in america on friday so they are doing themselves out of money because by then everyone will have seen it:mad:
 
Personally I am not that eager to see it,but this is crazy! The business sense behind it I mean.

I agree,waiting 6 months to release a movie is utterly baffling it this day and age.I realise horror movies will never have the market here that they have in the US but there is still a market for them,which makes it even more strange.
The Horror genre in the UK is usually a niche market (especially ones like this) so anybody who wants to see it will have downloaded it by September :confused:
 
I thought that was just what some sites were posting, i dont think theres actual confirmation of any UK release date yet. Though it wouldnt surprise me if it were in September, but thats what happens when you get independant distributors. They just dont have the money like the big studios do. It costs a lot of money to get film prints made.
 
i saw the original at the ica a couple of years ago and its a bit shonky tbh - i think a remake could improve on it and the trailer isn't that bad
 
I got all carried away, thinking it was coming out on Friday 13th March! How upsetting! I wish horror movies were more common - my local cinema seems to have an aversion to showing any that do make it to the big screen!!
 
dont get too excited about this remake folks
I live in the US now and went to see it this afternoon. Yeah its watchable and some of the gruesome bits are funny but it lacks plot and purpose.
Worth seeing on DVD or satellite when availble.
 
Im just after watching it and its not as good as i thought it was going to be. I will try and give it another watch though. I just dont think there was any tension during the wooRAB scenes.
