...unprecedented in US history How do you feel? Over the last few weeks, our freedoms are being stripped away at a rate unprecedented in US history, by things like the bailout bill, and the further extensions of power given to the executive.

How do you feel?
 
I feel that someone in the government needs to give me $1,000,000 immediately.
 
you are absolutely right but its been going on for quite awhile and steadily getting worse, the decay of our governments ethics and the lax response of our society. we'd just rather not make a stand.the thing of it is by the people for the people our government is suppose to answer to us, speak for us we just do not have a voice in government .our elected officials are elected on empty promises and cut throat politics winning a popular vote for their celebrity like status.it doesn't seem to matter what they do wrong so long as they look good doing it. Im still proud to be an American just not proud of our governments actions.
 
Well, usually its the US stripping away everyone elses freedom, so i guess u had it coming eventually...
 
like i want to move out of the country.
It is crazy how the u.s. is going down hill.
 
I can't do anything about it, and it doesn't affect me much. Once they start limiting freedom of expression and speech (well more than they already do), THEN i'll be pissed. But I still won't be able to do anything.
 
The last few weeks-this has been going on for some time-it makes me mad-you know the forefathers they like to quote all the time are rolling in their graves over what this country has turned into. Does anyone remember-no double taxation-HA-what a laugh that has become. Think it's time for a freaking tea party!
