The Last Exorcism

Just got back from watching it. Very impressed, it's been a while since a film has gripped me like that. Agreed that the ending was a bit of a cop out.

I liked the ending. I was a little disappointed when

it looked like she was just mental about being pregnant

although I wouldn't have guessed what was really going on.

I thought it was really quite clever. The ending was alright. It came a little bit 'out of nowhere' but it was okay. Loved the way it was put together and seeing the way the lead character changed to explain what he did right at the end. Not really a 'scary' film as it's being billed though, but entertaining.

I thought it was quite a clever little film too. I liked how what happened to the preacher and the camera crew is exactly what was shown in Nell's pictures on her bedroom wall and is how the film ended.

No it looked like it was going to end with her

not really being possessed

Which was disappointing. Then it turned out

she was giving birth to the antichrist or whatever

Which was marginally better.

I was really disappointed by the ending. I hoped that:

She was messed up because of the sexual abuse/pregnancy etc.

and it seemed like perhaps that was the case, and that they were:

removing the foetus as part of their ridiculous cult, in the belief that it was the devil

but:

it was too developed for it just to be a foetus, and it made that stupid screeching sound when it was thrown on to the fire

So yes, I was disappointed. The ending was terrible, and not in keeping with the rest of the film at all.

I saw this today. I quite liked the start and feel that it was needed and it added a lot of depth to the character. Both lead actors were very good and believable. I know a lot of people didn't like the ending but as silly as it was I enjoyed it because I wasn't expecting it.

Now they'll probably screw it up by making a sequel.

Hannah;44074468']Saw this yesterday.. absolutely awful. DO NOT go to see it. I rate it 4/10. Scary in some parts, interesting start, I was disappointed with the ending as we didn't get to see what happened to the rest of the characters, and it seemed very lazy, and the movie seemed only half finished. Overall I wouldn't recommend it.

I hadn't been to see a horror film in years, but I thought just for a change I'd try another one to see if there had been any innovations in the genre. If there have been they weren't present in this. Same old dross with spinning heaRAB, spider crawling girls and manic satanic dorbings on walls of houses.

Plus as others have said the ending was an after thought and didn't even make any sense.

Why would they sacrifice her if she was a demon? Surely a satanic cult would think she was the bees knees?

The dad or the fake pastor would have made much more sense.

Seen this like 2-3 weeks ago. My friend said it was meant to be really scary and it really wasn't. The first 1/2 hour of the film was like an RE video your forced to watched in school. Then aside from the predictable ending of who is the exorcist which I thought was predictable. The film was quite good but it wasn't really scary tbh. I'm a complete wuss at these types of things :o but it was interesting but not scary. The ending was poor, first 1/2 an hour awful middle was good.

An OKish film. Had a few laughs in the cinema with frienRAB at it though through one of my frienRAB nearly p*ssing herself. :D Good times. :) Now I'm stuck in the house for like the first time in months on Friday night. :(

watched it and was bored as shit i hate these fake interview type movies
i dont mind cam filming movies really

but doing fake documentary style interviews grates on me for some reason.

i heard most reviews complain about the ending but i thought it was the best part of the whole stupid movie cheesy as hell but something was finally happening.

the scene in the barn was laughable was i supposed to be scared? haha

also dont like how trailers include clips not seen in movie there taking the p!ss! a movie ill forget as soon as this threaRAB done ha

I was looking forward to watching this, it looked great on the trailer. Have to admit I was really disappointed. There wasn't much to see in it and I didn't realise it was going to be a hand held all the way through.

Dam that always gives me motion sickness!
