The Laff-A-Lympics scenerio with your favorite shows

If you could take the classic Laff-A-Lympics scenerio and apply it to your favorite shows (crossovers included), what would you come up with? Here's some examples...

Heathcliff and The Catillac Cats

Heathcliff team (characters from the Heathcliff segment)
Riff Raff team (characters from the Caillacs Cats segment)
Bad Guys teams (a mixture of bad guys from both segments of the show)

House of Mouse

Mickey Mouse team (team consisting of characters from the classic Disney cartoon shorts)
Disney Theatrical Team (characters from the Disney animated movies)
Disney Villians
 
Out of those 2, I'd be more inclined to go with the Disney one. For a Laff-A-Lympics type show, you'd be better off using characters from an entire studio rather than a single show. Disney has a wide variety of characters and genres to choose from (Mickey's gang, Disney movies, TV shows such as the Disney Afternoon/One Saturday Morning shows, Disney Channel original series, etc.). Heathcliff and the Cadillac Cats, by contrast, is just one show; there wouldn't be enough characters or varieties of themes to fill out entire teams for such a show.
 
If involved with crossovers here's what I'd do. Consider this some kind of "Toon-A-Lympics" If You Would.

First off I would have a team of Nicktoons characters. From the entire 91-now period. Including characters from Ren And Stimpy, Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents, Invader Zim, Avatar, etc. They'd probably the the team everyone liked the most but that dosen't mean they always win.

Then I'd probably have a team of Cartoon Network characters (and to Out Of Jimmy's Head Staff: Life action actors or those who work with life action actors can't get in, so :p to you). Probably mostly the classic toons (Dexter's Laboratory, Ed Edd n Eddy, Grim Adventures Of Billy and Mandy) and I guess... Foster's the reprsent the newest generation if need be. Most newer CN toons don't deserved to be represented at all. The team like CN itself is disorganized and serious need of repair with some small giimmers of "hope" and "talent" shining through.

And as the villian team for this "Toon-A-Lympics" I'd have villians from various Adult Swim toons try and compete. Like from Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law, Venture Brothers, and a few others. Unlike the other teams you'd only see the main villian characters on this team, and unlike the original Laugh-A-Lympics there'd be some episodes where the villians would just overall win. You know shake things up some.

As for hosts, probably the Disney toons (who didn't get invivted in for having so much involvement with live action Disney fare) and maybe classic toon stars. And the events would take place at a different location from a character's various local each week. I'd think it'd make for some solid crossover fanfic but I doubt anyone would ever write it. That I know fo anyway.
 
I defently would loved if Cartoon Network did revisal of Laff A Lympics, Cartoon Network Studio is a continuation of Hanna Barbara.

I would do three teams, one of characters from comedy shows mostly spunoff from What A Cartoon / Cartoon Cartoon show, like Dexter, Johnny Bravo, Billy and Mandy, etc. Second team would be heros from Toonami shows. Third would be a villain team of villains from the comedy and the action shows.

And to make it like a continuation of the original show, and have classic HB characters be commentators, guest referrees and torphy presenters. Dick Dasterly (even though he wasn't on the show, but the Dread Baron was a Dick Dasterly substitute, and I rather have the original) would be a regular commentator, and be like Jessie Ventura or Bobby Hennan and be very bias towards the bad guy team in his commentating.
 
Going to take Disney Channel's annual Summer Games with the live action actors a step further and make it an animated series:

MICKEY'S MOUSKETEERS: Comprised of the classic and current day animal related Disney characters: Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie, Pluto, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Clarabelle, etc. Also throw in Max, Darkwing Duck, Baloo & Kit Cloudkicker, etc.

TEAM POSSIBLE: Comprised of the more recent human DC characters: Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable, Jake Long, Kusco, Tarzan, Buzz Lightyear, etc. Stitch and Goliath would also be on this team since they live in the human world.

VILE VILLAINS: (sorry, couldn't think of a better name) Pete, Drakken, Shego, Demona, The Beagle Boys, The Fearsome Five and so on.
 
I'll get hated for it, but from the DIC universe, what of The Real Ghostbusters vs, The Beverly Hills Teens vs. The Central Organization of Police Specialists? Anything is (almost) possible in a cartoon.
 
If Disney did this sort of thing, perhaps they could use assorted ESPN personalities or caricatures thereof as the commentators. Media conglomeration does have its good points.

I'd like to see the Simpsons facing off the three families from the three Seth Macfarlane shows on FOX in a sports competition, but using the formula for Disney characters is just as sweet.
