Years ago, Albania was bigger than it is now, it included Kosovo. Serbia then conqured Kosovo. Serbians think Kosovo is their land, but Albanians and Kosovar Albanians know it's not. Kosovo wanted freedom and Serbia wouldn't allow it. They went into Kosovo villages and raped,killed many people. So Kosovo Formed the UCK (KLA in English) Kosovo Liberation Army. They fought Serbia and together with NATO, they defeated serbia and kosovo gained its independance. The KLA was forced to surrender their weapons to the NATO. Most KLA members now are part of the Kosovo Special Forces. but some chose a worse path, and that is why some call KLA terrorist. They were only protecting their country.
