Anybody seen this, it says on imdb that it releasing 26th December, cant see it on my cinema listings

LoaRAB of ppl have said its a good movie as well as the book

I saw it when it was released here. It's a good film. It can never be as intimate or emotional as the book, of course. But I enjoyed it. And cried
The boy who played Hassan was very very good.

It did go downhill during the second half, when Amir returns to Afghanistan. They omitted a lot of scenes so it all seemed very rushed.

I agree with all of the above, it was a bit disappointing really.
None of the heart or the intensity of the book really sustains that well. The second half is particularly weak.
