have $400 out of $650 he will? The clerk said judge will throw plea out if fine not paid in full even if I have over half of it. Does that mean I will be able to ask for public defender even though I plead guilty? She said he will seek a weekend in jail. I have never heard of a court doing this. I haven't been dragging this out this is the due date I was given and I have almost all the money? What can I do to stay out of jail? I will have the remainder of the money 2 weeks later? Any legal advice anyone can give me.
I am hoping if he throws out my plea that I can get a public defender. And yes he is a hard a$$. Do you think the public defenders office could tell me more even though they aren't representing me?
My boyfriend had a gram of marijuana and a pipe and the officer gave us both a ticket on the same charge even though I was not aware of it being in the car. My boyfriend stated that it was his but the officer didn't believe him. Or just was ticket happy but it is so stupid I have a clean record up until this. I have only had one running red light ticket 5 yrs ago other than this and that is it.

Now this is true but it relly depends on the jude him/herself. i believe that if the judge is conceterate enoulf of ur situition then he/she might keep ur plea.

Get off of Y/A and go mow a lawn or clean a house.

EDIT: Thanks for the personal message. Perhaps I should add that I am related to a judge like this so I can tell you that my guess would be that if you don't pay according to terms then you're going to suffer the consequences. I'm sorry that you're pregnant and I'm sorry that you don't have the cash...I'm just telling you what I think. I think if you don't have all of the money then you'll probably lose your deal so I would bust my ass to do everything I could to come up with the money. I suspect that you agreed to the terms to get this deal? I'm sorry to point out the truth to you...I'm not trying to be inconsiderate or rude. I will also tell you that I have twice served on jury duty with women who were so pregnant they were about to pop so I don't think that is going to change anything.

I think it depends on the judge and your record. It sounds like he's a harda$$, I would try to borrow the money just to be safe. See what your public defender thinks.

Since you havent' told us what the charge is no one here can tell you anything.

The thing is, the courts are usually more than willing to work out a paymetn plan for people who can't pay all at once.
