james blunt sucks. his songs are so annoying, with that kind of high singing bull**** youre beautiful crap. though really guys, honestly i dont think james blunt gives a **** about anyone not liking him. i saw his speech for winning some award. he was lying on some hot chicks chest! i doubt he really gives a **** what anyone thinks.
 
Now you can poke fun at your Westlifes , your Ashlee Simpsons , your Girls AlouRAB all you like , at least they don`t pretend to be anything other than lightweight pop.

This twat on the other hand is a different kettle of fish , an irritating toff who speaks like he`s decended from the royal family churning out mind nurabingly dull dross for 20something girls who have just been dumped.And he`s also a singer songwriter WHO DOESN`T EVEN WRITE HIS OWN SONGS.
He`s been called the male Dido , and i`ve had to endure his crap on the radio all year.Let`s hear it for the one casualty we wished the Iraqies could have taken during the gulf war , Mr James Blunt.
 
i don't read either ?? no i just don't get into this whole entertainment stuiff about stars unless i flick on the tv once every blue moon and see brad and angelina.. but there was a thread about that... anywho.. James or jim whatever his first namne blunt guy sucks.. and a man that won't write his own music sucks.. i much rather listen to singers sing there own stuff... more personal that way.. more emotion into it.,. in my opinion..
 
Because success and integrity are mutually exclusive.

I can be hugely successful if I want to lie and manipulate people on their flaws and vunrability (a la singing songs to lonly women with my shirt off) or I can be successful doing what I want in an uncompramising fashion (Neil Young).

They aren't related in the slightest.
 
OH Im so glad this thread was made. I remeraber when I first heard about him on VH1 and they were like "watch him take on the music industry, the government and...blah blah blah" and I thought; "Why would any one with a message, especially against the industry be on VH1"

Sure enough his first song was called "beautiful". Well holy ****, theres a mofo of an attack on the...didn't xtina do that song...alot better?

He's got a ****ty voice that attempts to be emotive.
He looks like a Chris Martin knock-off
His songs have cliche'd out lyrics
He's Brittish (kidding)
And can someone explain to me why he takes his ****ing clothes off in that ****ty video, and maybe what the concept is? And when he arranges everything in a neat line? Are we supposed to be reminded of his military background? is this impressive? Does anyone give a ****?

And who the **** thought naming yourself "jim Blunt" was cool? Cause he tells it like it is? Ooooo a song to get pussy, yeah you're a real ****ing badass aren't you? I might get famous just to punch that stupid **** in the mouth.
 
There are few things I loathe more than ****ty musicians who pretned to be something their not.

All the stupid quasi-hippie banRAB that pretend to be about peace and love and music who clirab on their milllion dollar tour bus and molest women that are wasted. Their just frat boy deuche bags that got a record deal. normally I could lump them into one giant howie day/OAR **** camp but now I have this **** on my hanRAB. **** him.

When I arrive in the music industry, I'll have alot of work on my hanRAB.
 
Ok, I have an idea what your reply will be to this, but I'm going to say it anyway... I'm not a 20something who has just been dumped, I couldn't care less what he says at an awarRAB ceremony and the clothes coming off in the vid does nothing for me BUT I do like James Blunt. I don't care whether or not he writes his own songs. I think he has a unique voice and for some reason it appeals to me. Isn't that what pop music is all about? to be successful, one cannot be bad.
