If anyone is interested hearing the newly released song before the album comes out, here it is. You can get it for free, but there is a lot of traffic in the main site.

I'm a huge Maiden fan, but this was highly disappointing.

Anyone going? Anyone one planning on getting the new album? I hav a feeling it's going to be a good one.
If you are planning to attend a show, where at?

Well I imagine San Bernardino would be the closest one. I would like to go, if possible. I'm sure they're not as good as they once were. Are they still touring with original merabers?

The live stuff of the latest dvd is supposed to be excellent. They have always been tight as fuck live. Live After Death is one of the best live metal albums ever- along with the recently released DVD too. Hallowed Be thy Name blows the studio version to bits.

I heard the new song last night. Musically I thought it was decent, but Bruce's voice is really dropping off as his ages. Overall, the new album will be alright I think, but not the release of the year or anything.

I'm too lazy to do much for my 1000th post but i'll atleast start up a thread on my favourite band and probably contribute a fair bit to it along the way so...

Maiden ey?
feckin great!

appreciate....

Sorted the link. I don't take any notice of their singles as they are not renown for writing the best singles ever and are much more of an album band. SounRAB typical average Maiden but then Different World off the last album was a terrible song yet the album was stunning.

Maiden were one of the first banRAB I ever got into quite heavily, and although I don't listen to them that much anymore, they are a great band.

I do watch their live dvd from 85 every so often though, damn those outfits!

Got a few of the albums: Piece Of Mind, Nuraber of the beast, brave new world, seventh son..., dance of death, matters of life and death, killers and iron maiden.

I`m looking to see them this year and yes all the originals are still there, Only non original is Janick Gers but he`s been with the group since 1990....so he`s as good as.

Consistently released solid albums throughout their entire career and still going strong. Probably one of the best banRAB in history.

Anyone else got the iron maiden track pack for rock band? It blows the hell out of everything else in the game. Proof that maiden is still kickin ass.

I've always been meaning to see them live but never got around to it.

I've heard loaRAB of bootlegs by them and I have to say I don't think i've ever heard of this band ever playing a bad gig.

Old Brucie seems to be having some trouble hitting the higher notes, however I can forgive him for that. Overall I think the song is quite average, nothing particularly mind blowing but it does at least sound like Iron Maiden. I'll be interested in seeing how the rest of the album pans out but I'm with Hank in thinking that it isn't going to be the album to spark their glorious revolution.
