...country. Discuss please? I am a bisexual (Western) male and have watched documentaries which have suggested that gay men in Iran are treated unfavourably, whilst transgendered persons are supported and their surgery often paid for by the Government. Hence, it is speculated that the truth may be more likely that often gay men in Iran take the option of a sex change so as to remain with their same sex partner legitimately rather than suffer prejudice for their sexuality. Bearing in mind that orientation and gender identity are separate issues, please make your feelings known on what I have just told you.
Zubayr: I care!
Misa M: I possess normal hormone levels (this has been verified) and genitalia equally normal - yet I have the capacity to be attracted to men, whilst not exclusively so. Thank you however for responding and making your best effort to discuss this topic.
Elda: No!! And I have been welcomed into this forum by Muslims fully aware of my orientation. If you resent this, I suggest you ignore my questions.

The Iranian President is known to tell much lies.

Although the Islamic faith rejects homosexuality, Muslims countries are glutted with homosexuals....even religious men in high places. Of course they try to hide it but a friend once told me that it's easier for male lovers to hold hands in Saudi Arabia than for a man and his wife to do so.
