The Invasion....Why??

Just seen the trailer for The Invasion with Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig. Why have WB made yet another remake of Invasion of the Bodysnatchers this is the fourth version I have seen?
Is there really no new ideas going round Hollywood at the moment.

Im sure I read someone that The Invasion has had major reshoots and had its release date pushed back which doesnt look good for this film!

Yeah, I read that aswell. Apparently there were lots of 'on set problems'

I know Nicole Kidman was injured in the making and therefore put it of for a little bit. I don't think it is bad for a film to be put back in release, there are many reasons why that happens etc... I am quite looking forward to this, I have not seen the original and love Nicole Kidman.

The Bodysnatcher films have always had some kind of contemporary relevance which is why it's a story worth retelling.
The reshoots don't bode well though and the trailer gives away far too much IMO.
