In some areas, a no contact order is part of a Domestic Violence Case. It's automatic. It's odd that neither of you knew about it, though, You, in particular, should have been brought to court and notified to stay away. It probably expires on a certain date. If you want it released before then, I think you'll need an attorney to appear in Minnesota, probably on her behalf, asking that it be dropped.

800.799.SAFE is the Nat'l Domestic Violence Hotline; you can probably get some legal advice from them.
 
there was no warrant she was in the car with me an the cop took me to jail for violating the injunction... Is the injunction a no contact order.. My girlfriend never filed for it the judge in Minnesota just put it there It was put on 11/24/2010. I was in Florida an when the house sold she came down that was in Feb./march 1st So what do I do to get rid of it so we can get on with our life's??? My gal said she NEVER asked for it... thank you all for the help All the problems we had were small and now fixed What do I do next I have a court date for next week 6/16 2011 I am confused..
