The Indiana Jones 4 Movie APPRECITION Thread

No Haters Please.

I for one thought it was an excellent movie, I avoided most of the media circus surrounding this as I didn't want to expect anything like a lot of people here.

I loved it, it was highly entertaining, action packed and funny.

Harrison continued to do a fantastic job playing Indy, of course playing it very tongue in cheek at being 65 and not being as young as he used to be. Great stuff.

I loved the family element to it and Marion has always been the best of his companions so I was well chuffed at the end.

I also loved the memorial reference to Marcus Brody, very apt and moving but still was hoping that Connery would made a surprise cameo.

Everyone seems to be fixated on the end with the alien element - I thought it was genius and in keeping with the story that Indy has been involved in the Roswell cover up.

It seems to me that people who were disappointed with this movie wanted this is the same timewarp as previous movies.

10 out of 10 for me - a good end to the series:D

i have seen it twice in 3 days. the first viewing was ok, the second, i enjoyed it much more.

i think skulls delivers, harrison was great, shia was good to.

i even found the tarzan scene more enjoyable at the second viewing.

dont worry about the cynics, just enjoy the ride!!!!!:):):):):):)

Harrison is still unbelievably sexy, I've been watching his movies since seeing Indy on Friday:D

It's a mega top entertaining movie.

Yes, this is what we need. A thread dedicating to raving about a movie that will make an absolute fortune regardless of its quality.

NO CONSTRUCTIVE OPINIONS OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK PLEASE.

at the end of the day it's two hours of light hearted fun and very enjoyable. A very good opening sequence as usual and just gets better from there. It still had comic moments to relieve the tension and plenty of action too.

Saw it on Thursday when it came out and might even see it again. Ford was just born for the roll

Very silly, very fun. Not beyond criticism, but so few films are.

But what do I know? Temple is my favourite Indy film, and I loved Young Indy. :o

Just seen it about 30mins ago and I loved every minute of it.
I didnt find any problems with at all and whats wrong with Indy getting in the fridge as it was made of lead and makes perfect sense to me.
I also did not have a problem with the alien/spaceship part either.
The film is not meant to be taken too seriousley, afterall its only fiction.
Cannot wait to see it again.

That made me smile, it did! In fact, this whole film made me smile like a kid. It was just so much old fashioned fun and the stupidity of it (Indy in a fridge!) is what makes it such a ride. It was exactly what I would expect from an Indy flick.

POSSIBLE SPOILER NEXT (though honestly, anyone who doesn't assume this will happen at the end REALLY doesn't think about plotting much!!)

The only thing I really wished it had was a gorier death for Spalko at the end. It just needed that Raiders/Crusade style overblown villain's cumuppance that they deserved for being such an arse to our Indy for the past two hours! It was just a bit too clean and kid-friendly for my liking.
