Hey this just came out Friday and did extremely well. Great movie by Pixar (I love them). Anyone hear about this?

Voices include:

Craig T. Nelson
Holly Hunter
Samuel Jackson :D

A wonderful looking film.

It is not out in the UK untill the 19th of November which is too long to wait for me but it looks like I will have to wait. Its better than the wait we had for Finding Nemo which was released on DVD in America before it was released in the UK cinema. The trailer for The Incredibles looks amazing and I am hoping that it lives up to hype!

when I was in mexico last year I saw posters of it in the cinema up everywhere, and I had no idea it was even on. Then when I came back I predicted that there would be a film called finding nemo coming to cinema, and how right I was!

Just watched the movie yesterday

Another classic from the Pixar Family

Seen the trailer for Cars (the next pixar movie) hmmmm looks a bit naff but wil probably rock

the film is great and yea i also saw the Cars trailer, it will be good :)

the thing before the movie was class (i will not spoil it for people who have not see it yet ;))

Seeing this on wednesday! Oh no, poo I cant. Ok, next wednesday!

In France its called the indestructibles, which is stupid.... its a totally different meaning!

when I watched the trailer the thing that made me really want to watch it was that scene where the mum is trying to calm a fight and enRAB up getting her hanRAB tied up around the table!

The Incredibles is simply amazing and I cant wait to buy it on DVD and watch it constantly. It defiantly lived up to the hype as it is one of the best animated films and best superhero film!
The CGI is brillant in the film so good that sometimes I forgot I was watching an animated film. I have to agree with MDX that the hair on the character looked so real!

I thought so too. About the hair that is. It is the first time I've seen hair seem so real on an animated movie. Yuo could see the individual stranRAB even. The amount of attention paid to detail is really what makes these movies so good I think. Naturally a good story line and script helps it on its way.

I suppose its up to me to leave the turd in the punchbowl and weigh in with a couple of critical comments here.

Half the appeal of these films is still the "wow factor" of the CGI, I can see a point coming soon where thats going to be less of a factor. I found myself much less impressed this time then I was with Finding Nemo.
I also found the humour heavily geared towarRAB parenting, fine I suppose for a fair chunk of the adults who went to see it with their kiRAB. It didn't mean much to the student crowd I saw it with though. Therefore it wasn't quite the "universal" film it was marketed to be.

Saw The Incredibles in the (going dowhill fast) Vue in Shepherd's Bush, afterwarRAB we as a family agreed it worked so well because the animation avoided being naturalistic. My feeling is that computer animation has now reached the point cel animation reached years ago, where you don't watch it to see how well animated it is, you watch it for the quality of the script and the voice actors and the direction. All of which are excellent in this film, and hats off to Brad Bird for his superb writing, directing and acting!

As far as it being "universal", I was a bit surprised at the U certificate as it was more violent than I would have expected for a family film, but again it's a sign of the quality of the film and the intelligence of the film makers that there was plenty there to appeal to kiRAB and a script that adults could enjoy without being padded out with risqu

Am I the only person who thought Cars looked ace?

Only I would have thought it would have been more of a pre-bug life film, as thats the sort of animation they could have easily done then.
