The ideal Android phone for someone in Canada.

Hello all! I currently live in Ontario, Canada and I have been really wondering what is the ideal phone to run on the Rogers network. I currently have a HTC Dream but due to roger's rape of the phone I cannot root it leaving me with 1.6 and initially bored. I have a HTC Hero for work which was with Telus and I unlocked it. It kept me entertained but I am just not fully into it. I am wondering if you guys have suggestions as to what Android powered phone I should purchase.

Current ideas:

Nexus One (If I can find one)
Xperia X10
Legend
