The ID card debate...?

What are your opinions on national ID cards in Britain? why for or against? any facts or figures would be helpful :)
 
What debate? We already show our license or ID to the police or any other government figure. To require registration, as it were, simply codifies an already existing system and helps reduce the terrorist threat. No law abiding citizen should have any objection to it. Only outlaws would oppose it.
 
i think everyone should have an i d card.so, you can show proof of who you are.its a little hard for 90 percent of the people to cash a check without one.
