I'm a little apprehensive about it

I'm quite a petite figure (5'2) and he's 6'1. He's also fairly well endowed so I don't even think it would fit up there!

Any tips or suggestions.. will it hurt?

The answer is it is your decision, I know a lot of men want to have anal sex since it is tighter and gives more sensation. I would talk to him and if you are willing to try let him but he needs to be lubed very, very well and just go in an inch ot two and if you don't like it he needs to stop and agree ahead of time that if you say stop he will never bring it up again. Again this is your choice so if you don't even want to try tell him and he should agree if he really loves you.
 
Lube lube lube lube lube lube. Lube until you think you put waaaaay too much lube on, and then lube some more. I've heard it hurts the first time and then after it's all good, but I can't vouch for that. Don't tense your butthole.
