The Hub's Schedule for 10/10 & 10/11 - "Men in Black: The Series" is Coming!

Wow, this network is starting to remind me of old school Nickelodeon.

Kids' programming during most of the day, classic TV shows late at night.

That's a Good Sign of Classic Things Popping Up! ^^

(Classic Shows)
Atomic Betty
Lavruen and Shirley
(maybe) Batman Beyond
Men in Black: TAS
(probably) Fraggle Rock
G.I. Joe (Original)
Transformers (Original)

New Shows
Pound Puppies
Family Game Night
Twisted Whiskers
Dennis and Gnasher
Deltora's Quest

I hope they consider airing the older shows during the day as well, or at the very least sometime before 9-10:00 PM (i.e., "bedtime"). I don't deal with the idea that only older viewers are interested in older shows. I think The Hub should give these shows a chance. I don't know about anyone else, but to me, it doesn't matter when a show is made as long as it's a good (if not necessarily great) and interesting show to watch. Also, when I say older shows, I mean the animated ones to be exact (all two of them at the moment). That said:

Live action sitcoms are one thing, but when animation is involved, that changes the rules, IMHO. I'm personally willing to give the original TF and G.I. Joe series a try if they were to air them either during the day or just before bedtime hours. Those, and any other classic animated shows they decide to pick up. I don't really like the idea of not being able to watch a show I might like simply because it's past my bedtime...

EDIT: I forgot about Fraggle Rock. That's an older show, and that's airing during the day. However, I still hope they'll consider shows like the aforementioned original TF and G.I. Joe series and others for airings during the day (or at least before bedtime).

The schedule for the 11th seems to be a lot better than the schedule for the 10th in my opinion, still, I'll be there to support the network on it's first day to at least get a feel for it and see what it's like, I'm hoping for better programming in the near future since I'm not too excited for new GI Joe and Transformers, in fact, the 2 shows I'm siked for the most would be Deltora Quest and Batman Beyond.

I'll be watching The Hub most of the day up until the Ben 10: Ultimate Alien premier, and all in all I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what this network has up it's sleeve. :D

I would rather like the network to pick up films that we haven't seen before on any of the kid oriented networks. It just makes me think that it will return again on Cartoon Network or even FX which is catered to just about everyone in terms of programming.

Update: the "Hub Sneak Preview" is of G.I. Joe: Renegades and Transformers Prime.

Also, Discovery Communications is doing a bit of corporate synergy for those who don't have the Hub. "Cosmic Quantum Ray" will be airing all next week on the Science Channel. Animal Planet will be airing an hour of "The Twisted Whiskers Show" they day before 10/10. TLC will also be airing "Family Game Night" on 10/9 as well.

Cable or satellite, it doesn't matter. If you have Discovery Kids, then you'll get The Hub. The whole channel is changing; it's not just something that's only happening in select areas.

Man, I'm shocked at how many older shows they're airing on the Hub, but it does make a lot of sense, actually. Since some of their big hitters (Transformers Prime, G.I.Joe Renegades) don't seem to have release dates yet, supplementing the lineup with lots of classics is a great way to keep the network afloat until they start rolling out all the new content. :)

All i can Hope is Atomic Betty being Keeped on The Hub.

Since there might be a Sequel Series... They might air it on The Hub in the Future. But, I'm Hoping Atomic Betty will still remain on The Hub :). Cause That was an Exciting Surprise ^^.

Wow! MiB:TAS and Old school Batman kinda came out of left field. Not that I mind since it's been ages since I watched Batman on TV and their were several eps. of MiB that I missed back when it aired on KidsWB.
I can leave or take Honey I Shrunk the Kids: the Tv, some were good, some were bad, most were stupid..otherwise Meh.
I honestly didn't think I'd ever see that show again in my lifetime, well not on a non-disney channel anyway.

Zap2it now provides us with some updates to the launch day schedule (Sunday, October 10):

The Kenny the Shark marathon will now run until 10AM. Also G.I. Joe: Renegades and Hub Sneak Peek airings have been replaced with Men in Black: The Series and Batman Beyond. First post updated with these changes.
