The HTC Scorpion

The HTC Scorpion, does anyone have info on this phone? I know its coming to verizon but when? I have a droid but i want a new droid. There isn't anything wrong with my Droid its just a lot of other droids are better like the evo but that's a sprint phone and I'm with Verizon, who I feel is the best carrier so I'm not looking to leave. But God, do I want that evo, I'm getting impatient I want Verizon to come out with a 4 plus inch screen phone with a front facing camera and keyboard. Hopefully the scorpion will have all of what I just mentioned, any info about this phone like specs and rumored release dates would make me more comfortable with waiting for it. My friend has an evo and its great success...for him and while the Droid can keep up with the best of them it's just not the best. I want to be able to have the best without switching to another carrier and I don't wanna jump the gun and upgrade to a Droid X or the Droid 2 especially if this scorpion is coming out soon, soon as in, this same year soon or in the next couple of months soon. Is anyone else looking forward to this phone? Or is as interested it as much as I am?

Lol this is how T-Mobile has felt seeing the Evo, Droid x, and incredible get rolled out. Idk if the scorpion is gonna have a keyboard, but its gonna be a beast. You've got the Droid 2 to consider too if you were a fan of the original Droid keyboard.

Lol, no I am not a high school kid I'm a grown man who loves gadgets. And with smartphones practically being mini laptops nowadays, I find myself in competition with my friends and family for superior bragging rights. Its all in good fun but with two of my friends having the evo and three others having a iphone 4g I find myself in the losing bracket. And far as the scorpion not having a physical keyboard, I can deal with that as long as its 4g and has a front facing camera. I do believe it will have a physical keyboard though, if its one thing verizon likes doing when it comes to flagship phones is incorporating everything. I find it hard to believe that verizon would put out a phone that juices up without including the keyboard. They know lots of people like physical keyboards, it would make sense to include one.

people like the keyboard cuz they all got the droid, but most droid owners I've talked to say they will get a touchscreen only, and thinner phone next. My buddy at work sold his Droid, and got Verizon's New DroidX. if you wanna get a good device to match your friends. that is it. The Droid X is actually faster than the EVO. they both say 1 Ghz, but the X has a better architecture

But the Droid X doesn't have a front facing camera and I would like to have that feature in my next phone. Again, I could do without the physical keyboard although I would like to have it but that alone wouldn't stop me from getting a device and besides the front facing camera I would also like to have 4g sense there's coveragre here in my city. A Verizon rep told me that something really great is coming in novermber, a 4g LTE device equipped with ALL the previous specs mentioned even the physical keyboard. Now I don't know how credible this person is or if he's even credible at all but I will be on the lookout

first of all, it's not the iphone 4g, just 4. second, front facing camera is a gimmick. third, you will never have the best phone, cause i guarantee you something better will come out next week. if you want a big screen, just get the X. i have the Incredible, and i personally think it's the best phone, but to each his own. and the Evo is not a Droid. Only Verizon has Droids.

I don't see the front camera as a gimmick. I think it appeals to those who video chat cia desktop and I can see a lot of youtube videos coming out of it because they can see what they're recording. Gimmick or not, its a highly sought after feature espiciall since the iphone has it. Also it sounds like the best phone for you would be the epic 4g but that's on sprint and idk if it'll have the ff camera. There's a couple more phones coming out with hardware keyboards. Though I think everyone should get used to a virtual keyboard as to not limit themselves from awesome phones.
