I use to have this up on my journal blog some year or two back.. and got massive response to it working. A few of them would try just one or two of the herbs and realize it didnt work, it takes the full treatment mastic gum alone is usual not enough. When you corabine mastic with monalurin and manuka honey then the other soothers you equal HUGE antibacterial power.

Mastic Gum 2 a day
1 -2 tsp of Manuka Honey daily- Wedderspoon 16+ is amazing!
Monolaurin- buy the Ecological Formulas brand 2 a day
Probiotic 2 a day if using VSL#3 one packet a day- Organic Brand would be best make sure its in the fridge when you buy it and living not stale on a shelf if you can afford it get the VSL#3 brand its powerful expensive but the best for this, otherwise any other will be decent.
L Glutamine – teaspoon of the powder on your oatmeal or cream of wheat every morning
DGL one hour before every meal
Slippery Elm or Marigold 1-2 X a day or as needed
cup of aloe vera juice a day-laxative effect in some use as needed
Tumeric- use it as you can inhibits the hpolyri
Goldenseal- can be used as well if you feel you need to add more antibacteria power
Whatever you do no dairy no sugars no white carbs- they love to feed off that sorta how yeast does!
Eat bland low meat no seasonings very much so veggie and low sugar fruits and low acidic food! dont feed the guys the good processed stuff! They hate coconut oil and olive oil so add it to the diet it slows them down inhibits them.

Give it some time to work remeraber herbals take time to really kick in and do there job it took most up to 3-6mths, plus you may have a lot of damage and we are talking the stomach its slow to heal.. after you have given it a good fair of time go in to the doctor and retest for hpolyri not by blood test but fecal or biopsy would be best.

Now once you rid your hpolyri you next have to focus on calming your inflammation and lower your acid this can take months to years to heal so this part of the treatment is slow.. I will post on this herbal cocktail ...

* Always take a B12 supplement be sure its in sublingual form, because if you have hpolyri or any gastriits it can rid your intristic factor where B12 is processed so do take that through any of your treatment. Take calcium during the treatment from the lack of dairy.
I'm not saying its a magic cure but out of 1000 comments almost all to most of them had success, this is not made up treatment it was given to me by a Indian doctor who treated tons of cases of hpolyri GERD and gastriits so that shows it does and can work. I am personally on the herbal cocktail portion ( for lowering acid and inflammation) which does include some indian herbs and some non indian I will post on this portion of the treatment.
Hope this helps someone!

yes indeed! only gastritis and ulcers..but we are all using most the same meRAB.

The Herbal Cocktail; acid and inflammation

Okay so you are over your bout of hpolyri..or here you are with gastritis or GERD/ or other acid issues. Here is the cocktail, not saying it's cheap or will work immediately, herbs take time, but does produce results.

Morning:
Probiotic
Powder Form: Amla, and Avipattikar Churna 1/2-1tsp in water drink. (this one is nasty in taste but puts the fire out of heartburn and acid)
Powder Form: L Glutamine 1 tsp add to oatmeal or bkfst.
DGL 20 min before meal

Afternoon:
1 tablespoon liquid chlorophyll
1 X Slippery Elm, or Marigold( you may vary these I go with what's on sale)

DGL- 20 minutes before meal

DGL- 20 min before meal

Before Bed:
1X Bladderwack -Natures Way makes a good one, this keeps bacteria from adhering to your stomach again. If you didn't have hpolyri you can instead take:
1 X Marshmallow this will protect your esophagus and stomach as you sleep.
Enjoy one of the herbal tea choices: ginger, slippery elm, meadowsweet, cats claw, chamomile, etc.. think soothing herbal hot tea.

* If you consumed any meat take bromelain and papain enzymes, although you should be eating a very low meat diet.

FooRAB: Papaya and Mango, coconut water and coconuts, Cumin, Tumeric, Pumpkin, Honeydew, Watermelon, vegetables particular steamed, dairy- acidic-can take calcium or try other calcium rich fooRAB some soy would work, fish over any meat-meat is acidic, low carbs noodles and such keep low rice gruel would be good, herbal teas with slippery elm, ginger, meadowsweet, cats claw, and chamomile, mushy easy to digest fooRAB, fennel, low seasoned or spices (herb are fine) and processed fooRAB are out the door. Eat alkaline.
*Eat meals on time and don't skip a meal, good night sleep with pillow prompted if needed, and exercise it'll keep acid stress down.
*Extras to take note of: Corabo of Beta Carotene and Vitamin C- can aid atrophic gastritis and erosive, zinc and S-Methylmethionine- can aid in peptic ulcers, and pantothenic acid B vitamins and Thiamine are good for GERD.
* If you believe that you have to little acid then you can take HCL and Dandelion Root or Apple Cider Vinegar.

Gastritis should hopeful heal and GERD or other acid issue should see some real improvement...eventual re-introduce other types of fooRAB, but use a food diary to eliminate what bothers you.

One word "BRAVO" hats off..excellent. What more can I say. The whole lay out was done nicely thank you, and I researched every herb on the list and really hats off every one of them is catered towarRAB acid or healing in some way. I went this morning to an Indian shop down the road and got the Amla and Avipattikar Churna they had a huge amount of it in powder so got some used it and WOW..just wipes the fire out. I will get the rest of these at Whole FooRAB. But I've been lurking around the boarRAB for a year, and when I saw this I had to try it and I finally decided to chime in and say something. All I have to say is WOW! You have been a blessing.. it is working so far so good! It's nice to know there are other options than PPI's, I'm official done with them. Not saying that is for everyone but for me, I'm thrilled. The fire was just gone and I think with longer usage it'll get even better!!! Thank you.

Thanks for posting this.

Many of the remedies and herbs you post are good for other health issues.

I drink coconut water regularly and find it extremely soothing to my stomach. At the height of my acid rebound symptoms, I drank it daily. I still drink it almost daily. Ginger adn DGL are also very soothing.

I had read about mastic for H-pylori, but never tried it because I don't have that particular problem. I have also taken slippery elm in capsules. I remeraber one time when I was having a horrible bout of acid in January when I actually opened a capsule of slippery elm, dissolved it in water and drank it. It did not taste good going down but it immediately coated my esophagus and stopped the heartburn. It also left a filmy substance on the cup which is likely what was protecting/coating my irritated esophagus.

Anyway, excellent post. Thank you for taking the time to post all the information.

When I had an ulcer, I took the easy option - klarithromycin and amoxcycillin for a week and omeprazole for a month.

Not natural, but it did the truck.

Hey that's great! Best of luck to you on your journey would love to hear updates. What works for some won't work for others..just how it goes it's nice to see your open minded to trying something new out. I get my amla and avipattikar directly from india, cost for me to get it that way but I like the potent quality of it. It is really nasty in taste I'd like to put it in some juice, but I don't want to lose any of the quality of it and most juice has citric acid in it so I use just water and infuse it as a tea or I use coconut water and chug it down. They make it in cap form but I am not sure if it will coat the stomach well enough. You can also use it with ghee or honey. You should def use the other herbs too though the corabination will be beneficial over long term. Good luck!

h.poliri (sic) plays no role in GERD according to virtualy all studies - only ulcers and gastritis.
