Hi :)

Anyone got this? Im with telewest and only noticed it the other night. It's for horror films......

I watched one for about 10 minutes and couldnt take anymore, it was about a snowbeast  ie: a man dressed in a white furry thing which looked like an angry pussycat and which ran away when the awful actor punched it on the nose LOL :D

I love horror films but these seem to be bad, and I mean BAD B movies .....LOL

Oh my the films on that channel are unbelievably crap, soooo bad its unreal. The same goes for 'matinee movies'

Neither of them hold a candle to Bad Movies though!! What a stupid idea for a channel!! What was the plan, buy up Gigli and show it over and over again??

I was excited when I found this channel..but was also dissapointed when I realised they only showed old films and not newish ones. I have recorded a few films off this channel and liked them..but it's not a channel I would go back to a lot though.

My step Father watches this channel quite a bit..but then he's easy to please though..a television junkie if you like. I'll only watch something if it really looks like I would be interested in it..otherwise i'll just switch over again.

Was really looking forward to this channel appearing on telewest, Then ultimately let down when it did, a majority of it is crap, only decent film they've had since I've had it is Creepshow 2..It's as dodgy as the "scifi" channel.

A good film to look out for on Horror channel is called Grim Weekend, it was on the horror channel last wednesday and will be on again soon, its not really a mega scary film but it has a shock ending, well worth watching. :D

The Horror Channel is simply a dreadful channel and not half the channel many of Sky viewers were expecting.
What made matters worse for this channel were the promises made by the channel's M.D around the time the channel launched, that there would be screenings of British horror films from Hammer studios. Some 2 years later, there hasn't been 1 Hammer horror shown on the channel.
Rumour has it though the last I heard, The Horror Channel is being taken over and maybe re-launching (sorry I can't remember where I read this). So maybe with a better budget for this channel, we may finally get to see ''better'' horror films on the channel in the coming months.

Remember the The Horror Channel is a FTA channel, and only has it's income via advertising. Most pay tv channels snap up the top horror films, and the channel broadcasts to those horror fans that want to see these films as an alternative.

I'm not a huge fan of the channel, but have watched Hellraiser, Children Of The Corn, Friday the 13th and a couple of the "not very well known" films, and agree not very good.

Maybe if the Horror Channel is for sale, someone will snap it up and become a pay tv channel maybe via Sky and that will help improve programming...
