Honda actually has a good management philosophy known as The Three Joys but Honda Motor Co. Ltd in Japan has made a blunder by appointing a “stupid samurai" (who used to work in Iran before) to manage its assembly plant in Butterworth, Penang.
One don’t have to be a psychiatric specialist to sense this, even the “never go to school” person could tell that this “stupid samurai” is a waste to the company effort to promote a healthier working relationship in order to support its infamous “Three Joys” philosophy!
I wonder who trained him to become the “change agent”. He is not changing anything here but the way employee think about Honda philosophy. I wonder how such a huge multinational company like Honda fails to notice this. I think this is why Honda has never get to the top the world.
