The Hole on E4

The Hole is on E4 tonight at 9pm. A fantastic film, i think.

worth a watch.

A modern thriller set in a British private school. Based on the best selling cult novel by Guy Burt, 'After The Hole' takes us on a disturbing roller coaster ride where "truth" and "fiction" become commodities in a bizarre adolescent prank which goes wrong.

its got thora birch and keira knightly in it.

its a good story with a fab twist!

The only low point IMO, except her downfall, mwahahaha!

A good film which I have on DVD (though obv I still watched some on E4. :))

Scariest/creepiest/most effective on first viewing though.

I love the way the voice over guy describes the film for us:

"Staring Keira Knightley, 'whats-'er-face' from American Beauty and a whole host of other lovely young beauties...!" or something to that effect.

It's hilarious to hear him say it in that weird voice of his. E4 should do this sort of thing for all their programming and make this guy the full time continuity voice over guy!

Paddy :D

Not overly keen on the film, but it's certainly worthy of a watch if you've never seen the film before!

As mojo5000 said, it's not really quite a horror, more of a 'chiller' as far as I was concerned. If you've not got anything better to do then you may as well give it a whirl!

Poor poor movie, weak unbelievable plotline (my best friend is dying, but lets spend another night down here just in case I get laid), and the "have you ever loved someone" bit had me reaching for the bucket. But hey, I'm in the minority here.

I love the advert with the old posh guy:

"Starting next week; 'The Hole' starring Kiera Knightley, Whatserface from American Beauty and someother zesty young lovlies"

When it said "starting next week" I thought they were gonna break it up and show it 30 minutes per night but it looks like their just repeating it twice.

That VO is very funny. :)

Basically most of the film is Thora Birth's character telling us the WRONG version of what happened. Eventually she tells the police woman the true story but doesn't do it whilst recorded/making a statement so goes scott free.

not a terrible film, could have been done so much better but it still isnt bad. Birch and Knightley are particularly good.

TROD.
