Anybody had a chance to watch this yet?

I thought it was quite enjoyable, of course it's not a full out horror movie and is more of a family film - but it had some creepy parts, and was good fun.

I quite enjoyed it.

I never jump at scary parts in films as 9/10 times you see the jumpy bit coming. However I did jump on a couple of occasions!

This is not a kiRAB family film very creepy and scary and doubt the validity of the 12 A certicate the my nieces and nephews 14, 10 and 8 struggled to watch it and wnatede to leave and all slept in one room last night:(:(

was very creepy and scary for the adults as well

I'm going to see it on Monday once the bloody kiRAB are back at school. :)

On the RAB site they have an interview with director Joe Dante. One of the questions asked was mine. :)

i agree with you my nieces wanted to leave but sat through it:(

I think spiderwick chronilces was more mild children horror eg pantomime horror if that make sense

the hole dealt with
child abuse phobias and letting frienRAB die it was :eek::eek::eek:

Really enjoyed it.

It's hide under the bed covers scary rather than nightmare scary . As for the 3D, there is a big 3D finish but the rest of the movie is fairly standard ie no stupid 'pointy bits' towarRAB the camera.

One of the better films I've seen this summer. :)

took my 11 year old son and he kept covering his eyes which he never does when Dr Who is on, it did scare him so i would definitely say 12A is the right certificate, it was pretty creepy in parts

I love how the BBFC have some ****ed up theory that disturbing images and scenes aren't likely to harm a child but 'moderate sex references' will cause anybody under 15 to be scarred for life.

What about all those lowering things into the whole shots so we could marvel at how they look like they are coming at us..... ho hum shots?

I really enjoyed the film. It's in my top 10 films this year.

Can someone mention the swear worRAB that appear in this film? in another topic, not answered, someone mentioned there were two or so quite offensive swear worRAB in it for a 12A.

Thank you.
