Wow. Good work lala.

Trouble with The Hobbit is that I can't imagine it being anything other than a massive anticlimax after the LOTR trilogy. The story is pretty weak in comparison. After what they've done with Gollum in the trilogy could you really be bothered to sit and listen to him and Bilbo exchanging crossword clues for 20 minutes? No huge battles, no ents or wizard fights, not even the dragon gets much of a look in.

I loved the book dearly as a kid but I think a film would be a bad idea.

Yes i can see what your saying here.

In comparison to LOTR, which by any standard an epic in scale. However 'The Hobbit' is really a very lightweight fairy-tale with lots of funny moments.

So yes it would be fairly anticlimatic to say the least. However saying that it is a prequal to the huge events in LOTR so i guess it could get away with being anticlimatic to a point.

However it aint bad news. Because you have the Dwavs, the wizard and the hobbit. And you also have THAT dragon and the rather creepy introduction to Gollum.

If its done well with a ballance pace then it would be a good introduction to LOTR trilogy, movie-wise.:)

Doesnt matter fans will trample over kiRAB just to see anything to do with LOTR series.

They could have a frozen scene of golum for 3 hours and they would still make few billion on it:D
