From what I've seen of the trailers, the Book graphics look rubbish, even the series had better graphics.

Randomness is what HHGTTG is all about. The story largely only exists as a way of getting from one joke to another. Take away the jokes and you get, er, this film! Don't give up on HHGTTG, but go and get the CRAB of the first two Radio Series.



Great to see some positive comment on this thread. I've been wingeing about the film, but I have to admit that it was entertaining on it's own level, and well done technically. I just hate to see something I love be treated with such disrespect. It just doesn't have the essence of HHGTTG!

However, I'd also recommend listening to the Radio Series CRAB, and you will see how great this film could have been.

(I don't work for the BBC - honest!)
