The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

That's what I remembered her from. That particular ep. of Frasier was on Paramount last week, WeRAB I think. If I hadn't seen it, I'd never have recognised her. Kinda sums up Hitchhiker's for me. I spent more time trying to place her than caring about the film.

Erm... I'm confused. I'm reading The Restaurant at the End of the Universe at the moment, and in that Milliways is not on Magrathea, but on Frogstar World B. Is that maybe something that was changed from the radio/TV series?

imho... worst film... ever

its too random - a 4 year old could have writen that story line - thats the first time ive ever benn to see a film and sat through it wishing i werent there and that i cud b doing sumthing better. i cudnt just leave thou... i wwas with frienRAB

I saw this film last week with my dad, and I have to say, that it was pretty crap. The film didn't make any sense, my dad was laughing his head off at it, and elbowing me, so I spent the whole time being nudged awake, and having to fake laugh. It was probably the most wierdest film I've ever seen, well, the bits that I saw, plus the ending didn't make any sense. Plus that man with two heaRAB looked stupid. :/

Wow you all hate it? I really liked this film!!! It wasn't fantastic but I think it was pretty good entertainment, it could have been a lot worse....however I haven't read the books or seen the TV show so I can't compare them.

the film is funny not mega funny but funny, didnt like the love story bit or that random half man thing they should have kept more to the books

They better be.

But are they going to call the next film HHTTG or Resturant at the End of the Universe?

What are they going to do with books 4 and 5? Zaphod and Trillion don't appear in the last 2 books. They disappearance is explained in So Long and Thanks For All The Fish by Ford saying they gone off making babies.

I dont mind him cos I adore John Malcovich, but because that part of the storyline was never resolved there didnt seem much point of it (apart from not having the animators have to animate ZaphoRAB head as it had 'conveniently' been removed)

Fantastic film version, loades of extras for the fans, prob why i was the only one laughing at points in the cinema!!

nice cameo from the TV marvin in the vogon cue!

i saw the film in the Odeon Guildford, so the entire audience had this deeper sence of inclusion and ownership for the film!!!

Good to see that it has topped the US box office, as suceeding there is crutial due to the films budget. Bring on the next one!!
