The Hills Have Eyes

Just seen it... I am very disturbed by it .... nearly walked out at the bit in the carvan when the mother and eldest daughter get killed.... Deffo worse than Wolf Creek and Saw 1/2

If anyone bought this on DVD i'd seriouslly think they have something wrong with them :(

There must be cuts in it...

One bit where they are talking about the CB radio... they say they heard breathing down the line..... When? I never saw that bit?

Yes, some of it was terrifyingly disturbing..

The nuclear village reminded me of House Of Wax with all them dummies....

Brilliant film although the trailer scene is disturbing, after that it becomes a normal gorefest and agree that the mutants are a bit too over the top, if they had all been like the little girl it would have been more 'realistic'..... Also presume the ending meant that they didn't survive?

Although it has not been cut by the BBFC, sometimes the distributors cut it before submitting it as they know it won't be passed and means it doesn't have to go back and forward between the two to approve the cuts, thus saving time if the release date is close.

Anyone notice Sloth out of the GOONIES??

The mutant who tries to rape the blond lass from lost in the caravan.

(I know its not really him!) :D :D

A truly excellent film in every respect. Plenty of blood and gore, and well deserving of the 18 certificate. They do not make enough 18 certificate films these days that actually live up to that title!

What makes it even better value, we only pay

I've been wanting to see this but thought I'd wait to hear some reviews first.

I don't like gory films and this sounRAB like it's a gorefest. I prefer scary (jump out of your seat) films, so might give this a miss.

I saw the original and thought it was good....but blood and gore doesn't appeal to me, especially when I'm eating my popcorn. (I must be getting old...I used to love horror films) :o

I must be getting old and cynical but this film was mind-numbingly dull, everything was so predictable, the acting was embarrassing, the prosthetics weren't that good and the ending was abysmal.

It was like Lassie with blood.

It looks like we are going to get a sequel to The Hills Have Eyes asthis was on Moviehole.net about it:

"Wes Craven says he and his son Jonathan will write the sequel to Alexandre Aja's
