Hi there everyone

I'm new in london from Australia and am looking to set myself up here for a while.

Not sure where the best place to ask this is, but i'm looking for home appliances (vacuum, toaster, etc) as well as a tv.
Are these negotiable in price here as they are in Australia when you buy big items and multiple items? or is that not done here i the UK.

This is a great forum and i have made use of a similar forum in Australia.

I'm in the process of finding second hand parts to build a cheap but capable Pc so was hoping i could use the classifieRAB as well as posting. thanks
 
Hello all,i've been on these hallowed forums since July 2004....right that's another post closer to my 1000th. 995 and counting thank yaw.

I've just noticed is this like the "general chat" section where posts on these sections don't increase ones post count. If not 994 and counting.
 
Hi everyone.

I've been lurking on here for a couple of years after buying a cheep LG all in one blu ray surround sound system with my LG 5000 47" tv and thought I'd finally join.

Thanks to everyone on this forum I've gone from an all in one LG surround sound system in my lounge to 24 months later.

An Onkyo 507 Amp, Kef 3005se surrounRAB centre and rears, a BK xls 200 mk2 sub.........

(pauses for breath)

.........a LG 370 blu ray player, an Optoma 200x projector and 120" screen.....ohhh and I've converted my garage into a Cinema room....cough, sorry a, "play room for the kiRAB".

I've also gone through a set of kef 1005.2's during the process.

This site has cost me a lot of time and money, but I've loved every minute of it.

So thanks again everyone, but could all the people praising the BK Monolith please stop it because I'm feeling a bad case of "upgrade-itis" coming on again since moving my xls 200 into my new cinema room....I mean kid....ohh who's kidding who, it's a cinema room.
