The Headline on Yahoo is "Health care costs could rise slightly under Senate bill"?

Can anyone give me an example of a federal program that 'rose slightly'.

Then someone give us examples of federal programs that Tripled and/or have failed miserably.

This isnt a federal program, its just a subsidy

the govt is taxing the insurance companies, and the insurance companies are LOGICALLY going to put that cost on to consumers
Democrats are too stupid to see this coming

I think that slightly to the Government means just under 100 % more than it is now.

If you pay 800.00 a month right now.
There slightly means
You will be paying 1,599.98 a month.

You got to pay for that 35,000.000 more people from somewhere.

You are correct. That figure does not take into account what happens if many 18 to 30 year olds decide to accept the fine instead of getting insurance. This is a great possibility. If that age group decides to NOT get insurance, the people who do have insurance will see a huge cost increase to their health care. Democrats like to look at only one part of the picture and not the whole picture and the what if's

If you had read the article, it was not about the governmental costs of the bill. It was about the actual cost of health care. This is currently rising at about 3 times inflation rate every year and increasing every year. What the article said was that if this bill passes, it will rise less than 1% over the next decade.

I don't like the bill, but if it actually does that, I'll be grateful.

Programs that worked at or under budget.... Can't think of any

Failures...

Cash for Clunkers
Social security
Medicare
