The guy that I liked for a long time asked another girl to the dance?

there was this guy that I was like obsessed with, and it was almost creepy. i finally started to get over him when I just heard that he was going with this girl that I knew to the dance, that I secretly wanted him to ask me to. I found out the news so sudden that i was just striken by it, and I have felt kind of sad about it for the last week, and have even considered not to go to the dance anymore because I don't want to see them there. any advice for cheering up? has anyone been through a situation like this? in a way i'm kind of happy because it's sort of helping me move on, but another part of me is sad because I seriously thought that he liked me

Everyone has those days. -sigh- I was also obsessed with this guy but I saw him flirting with someone else. Well, I was sad too. The sadness is temporary. You'll get over it. You'll know that he's not important anymore, and there are so many guys out there. They'll really be the ones to love you.

aww...im sorry! honey, i hav been thru exactly what u have, and trust me, u should go to the dance. bcoz even tho u must have been shattered, if u really liked him a lot-but it wont make a difference to him if you go or not, if he already likes someone else. like i said, u must have been totally shattered, but think of it this way:maybe he just wasnt meant for you. there are like a thousand guys waiting for you, but you're one in a million! there will come a time when Mr.Perfect will come to u! just remember wat happens, happens for the best-so probably ur toooooo awesome for him!
