Seriously though, that would be devistating. They keys and everglades > *.america and this shit would absolutely destroy the ecology there.

I was really hoping the resident TROLL didn't hijack my thread. I'm quite sure everyone knows who I'm referring to.

Remind me again, if a corporation freezes top executive pay, that means the top executives don't make any money for the year right?

It wouldn't surprised me to start seeing acts of violence against BP gas stations across the Country or a massive boycott for that matter.

I heard there's been dead fish and oil blobs washing up on shore in FL is this true or not?

under regulation is why they collapsed. The regulations weren't enforced by the bush-era regulators, and so safety standards weren't met. this isn't even up for debate.

GWB was in no way a God to me. I simply pointed out how all you Libertards blamed Katrina on GWB, but Obama is sin free on the Gulf spill.

Hypocrite much?

How would you define "near" in this situation? The Tiber Oil Field is 250 miles from Houston and 300 miles from NOLA.

I a materials chemical engineer/consultant at a large engineering firm in Atlanta. I am the government compliance manager so I deal with a lot of federal regs and standardized material specs. My background is organic chemistry but I now deal a lot with metallurgy and inorganic systems.

If I end up going down there I will be working as a consultant with several companies dealing with materials, both organic and inorganic, to best determine their feasibility in the currant situation.

I would imagine, I certainly would boycott them. I wonder how many stations BP provides gas to that aren't actual BP stations. There has to be some.
