We can drill safely near our shores. There's enough rigs moving enough oil everyday and has been for nearly a century to prove that.

If we could cut the foreign oil apron string, we'd be better off.

Heading right to southern LA and will most likely be spending a majority of my time on some sort of vessel a few miles off shore.

he's right!! let the oil industry regulate itself. Private companies should be allowed to control how they conduct their business. They will make the best decisions..much better than the feds ever could.

I avoid the one down here now. I won't ever go back. I know that is an asshole thing to do because most gas stations are privately owned franchises, but I don't care.
 
If the oil hits the Keys before or during my August vacation in the Keys I'm going to flip the fuck out. Not until then though.

it is one of the few, if not best option we have without spending absurd amounts of money that we already dont have on contiuing to buy large amounts of foreign oil
 
There are no BP gas stations in my town.

You can always short their stock to profit from the disaster.

If that "top kill" fails today, they are going to be doomed.
 
You're whole post is contradictory. You don't want to see the environment impacted in a negative way....but this whole thing is comical?

No one is saying that the solution needs to be over regulation....this thread is just saying "fix the fucking problem".
 
I say we jsut let the fucker go and completely bleed out, it would be fun watching the hippies squirm for as long as possible
