The Grudge 3 CONFIRMED!!!

The Grudge 3 is the upcoming sequel to Sony's 2006 horror film The Grudge 2. The film will be the last installment in The Grudge trilogy and will not follow the story of the Ju-on series.

The sequel was officially announced by Sony during Comic-Con 2006. Takashi Shimizu stated he is offered to direct the sequel but would rather prefer to produce the film instead.

It will be released in 2008.

Well it will be a flop! Sarah Michelle Gellar made the first one, spoilt the second one, and wont even be in the third one so what a stupid idea!
The 2nd one spoilt the first one, so the third one is going to spoil the whole credibility of the franchise!

Sarah Michelle Gellar died in the second film

and the Japanese movie Ju-On : the Grudge 3 WILL be released in 2007. But the film i am talking about is actually the sequel to the american movies.

The Grudge 1 was awful, i wouldn't even describe it as a horror movie. Haven't seen the Grudge 2 but i probably won't bother watching it, along with Grudge 3.

It has been rumored that Sarah Michelle Gellar will be back for another Grudge sequel. The character Karen Davis, has been stated that she is in a limbo, and must warn the new housemates of The Saeki family.

It is not known if Amber Tamblyn will return.

It is due to be released in 2008.
