This movie was the scariest movies I have seen in a long time. I didn't see the orginal but I quite liked this one.

I saw the TV spots and they look pretty creepy and awesome. Haven't seen the seqel yet but will definitely find time to see Grudge 2. I wouldn't miss it for the world. :D

I did not get to see it this weekend -- boo. I had friends come in town for the weekend last minute but my friends and I are planning to go tonight. I am glad to hear that yall liked it and number one in the box office -- that is great!

[sp] i don't think so. The flashback just consisted of Karen walking up the stairs and then a shot of her in the hallway. I don't remember anything with actually seeing Jason. Since i've only seen the film once i thought i might of just forgot something but i just looked on imdb and there isn't a listing for Jason so looks like he wasn't in it[/sp]

ahh thats awesome. [sp]anything with jason behr (doug - karen's boyfriend) in this sequel I need details. [/sp]

thank you!!!

These are the 2 i can think of, i might be missing some

[sp]There are some flashbacks, they repeat the whole thing where Kayoko's husband found the journal and near the end of the movie, Karen's sis has kind of a flashback cuz she sees when karen entered the house to find her boyfriend in the first movie. Thats all i can think of right now[/sp]

Very nice reviews! I am wondering if they showed any flashbacks from the first movie.

Heres my review of...my all over the place review lol:
[sp]I was a little upset SMG only lasted 15 min into the movie but i did kind of expect it lol. One thing i have to say, i love anytime SMG dies in anything cuz she she has the best dead-eyed stare of any actress i think lol I really liked getting Kayako's backstory.(When they went to that flashback of her as a little girl,it creeped me out) The scene in the dark room(is that the name? where you develop photos?) creeped me out a lot, just because of how before she attacked, Kayako's head was sitting there in the pan, staring and doing nothing...just seemed so freaky. 1 part that freaked me out a lot was when Allison went back to the psychologist and the psychologist said how those dead girls were there with them, and then the pyschogist turned out to be a ghost and let out that loud moan, i jumped out of my seat lol. The ending was awesome, when Katherine's sister(my mind's blanked out on her name) was killed by the ghost, and was lieing there, it was just so cool. And when you hear and see the neck snap, 1 of those moments that made me go "ooo!" and cringe. And the end where Allison disappeared from her hoodie mad eme jump even though it was on every tv trailer lol. And when Kayako jumped out of the empty hoodie, i jumped again lol. And I loved how some scenes were almost exactly like scenes from the first Grudge, the shower scene, the bed scene. And 1 last thing, 1 scene where thje spirits made a noise, it only cam eout of 1 set of the theatre's speakers so it sounded like it was in the room with the audience, lots of pl were craning their heads around cuz it sounded like Kayoko was in there with us. Don't know if it was supposed to happen like that or our theatre was just messing up lol[/sp]

WOW.

I just saw this and I have to say that it was well worth my 8 dollars (unlike the first). It had much more scary scenes with the Japanese demon(s) and the backstory was much better and rewarding. I loved it.

I saw this tonight and it was awesome! So much better than the first one. My heart was racing pretty much through the whole movie. Lots of scares! Better storyline and development I thought. Good performances all around. This scared me much more than the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre which I saw last week.

I think that it does too -- I am really interested to see if it is. I swear, I jump everythime I see the commercials. does anyone else? I think it looks creepy good. Only two more days.

Just got back from watching it with some of my friends. And all of us were scared. It was a lot better than the first one, especially with the storyline. The scenes were scary too, a lot scarier than I anticipated given what they showed in the first one. I liked the casting of Amber and Ariel, both did a great job. Also, I didn't think I was going to like Edison in this, but surprisingly he was halfway decent, not to mention, just yummy to look at. :D: Anyways, this one was so much better than the first and is a definite recommend ... :)

Anyone else looking forward to this film that comes out Friday the 13th? Really looking forward to seeing what happens...only one more week.
