Has anybody noticed that The Grudge 2 has dissapeared from Sky tv listings, theres something called Magitian's on in it's place, I thought it was supposed to be showing all week, anybody know anything?

It was listed in various TV Guide Mags as well.

Thought I was going nuts when the movie wasn't showing up on my Virgin EPG. A search on the Radio Times site doesn't reveal an upcoming broadcast for it.

According to Digiguide, it is showing:

26th April - Sky Movies Sci-Fi/Horror (14:20 & 21:00)

And in HD:
27th May - Sky Movies 2 HD (00:55)

I was looking forward to watching this too.

Ah, so that's why a film i've never heard of (Magicians) seemed to randomly appear on my Sky+ planner. I'm intrigued to know why they've delayed 'The Grudge 2', i'm not that desperate to see it really though, personally i thought the first American one was crap.

Umm Magicans was always meant to be on I think, the film that's replaced it is Breaking And Entering, the reason they're showing that is because it's Director Anthony Minghella died last weeek but they shouldn't have taken Grudge 2 off

I have now had a reply from Sky, quite a good result:

Dear Mr Machin

Thank you for your email.

I am sorry to learn that the Grudge 2 was replaced at short notice. I can confirm that this movie will now been shown on Sky Movies Premiere and Sky Movies Premiere HD from Saturday 12 April.

May I take this opportunity to thank you for taking the time to contact Sky.

Kind regarRAB

They did exlain at 9.45pm last night as well. Bit annoyed as we had settled down to watch The Grudge.

I think they should leave tributes to a properly organised time - say have a season on Anthony Minghella one week in April. Then at least we can watch and appreciate rather than having lisited programmes changed at the last minute.

Ooooh, I see.

So who was "Magicians" a tribute to?

Andrew O'Connor (Director)
Stephen Aintree
Aladin
James Bachman
Ali Bongo
Darren Boyd
Peter Capaldi

EDIT: Sorry, didn't read above post properly, it was for a Director Anthony Minghella, who died a couple of weeks ago
