Anyone else think this is a life changing movie? Just watched it for the third time and on each viewing I get something different from it. (wipes tears from eyes for the third time )
My uncle said that it changed his life too. I thought to myself, "wow, maybe I should watch it."
So I did, and I was left thinking it was good, but not great. I preferred The Shawshank Redemption, and I know that they're not the same genre, but still, it wasn't life-changing in the same way that Forrest Gump, City of God, or Battle Royale were to me.
One of my all time favourite films. Good job I like a good weepy because I cry buckets everytime and I've probably seen it about 6 times now. It's not life changing though.
Incredible film - made me cry watching it as well but nowhere near as bad as when I read the book beforehand. I was on holiday at the time and burst into tears (on numerous occasions mind) whilst reading it on the beach. Everyone started laughing at me - hubby included - as I couldn't control myself at the end and just kept saying out loud "OH MY GOD I can't believe they did that......" (sorry if it has spoilt the ending for anyone that hasn't seen it ).
