The greatest non-Pixar CG movie ever - How To Train Your Dragon

How To Train Your Dragon: 4/5

I really enjoyed it. Much better than I thought it would be. It has a good story with heart (it also goes in a direction you don't expect), good music (both majestic and gentle and romantic) and some scenes make nice use of 3D. I liked how it doesn't rely on in-your-face pop culture references which ensures the film won't date too much.
I liked the way it ended and wasn't expecting that. And the relationships in the film seemed believable, even though the relationship between Astrid (the girl he fancied) and Hiccup is high-school/middle school students as Vikings (gives you something to relate to), as a whole the film is surprisingly unanachronistic.
I liked the way they showed the relationship between father and son and the way Hiccup could be a hero - but just in a different way to what you'd expect.

i certainly enjoyed it, it wasnt the best non-pixar film i've seen. but it was good, and one of the best from Dreamworks.

my fave non-Pixar cgi film is Madagascar 2 - the jokes alone had me wetting my knickers.

but horses for courses and all that.

it felt pointless to me in 3d (i guess thats what 3d means to me)

and yeah - defo buying it on bluray myself when its out in a few months.

loved the Icelandic song at the end

it was King Julian that had me in stitches :D:D:D

Kung Fu Panda is very good!

And I absolutely adore Shrek...in fact - i proberly mean that over the Madagascar (i had forgot about it :D)
but sadly, i never liked the sequals at all!!!! no.2 felt wrong and no.3 felt worse! but i have only seen the sequals once each - perhaps after another viewing i may like them more.

recently saw Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs which is very funny!! that little monkey had me wetting myself

and Horton Hears A who - from other people, its described as one of the better GCi movies - I thought it was very good, but not the best!!!!

I really concern myself as a grown man enjoying these movies :o:D
