The Great Men's Fashion Debate?

I was having a discussion with a friend about some common fashion points for men's formal wear and I was wondering what everyone else thought.
1.) Jacket: two buttons, or three. Pocket square or not.
2.) Shirt: french cuff or barrel cuff, with or without cuff links
3.) belt of suspenders
4.) pants: pleated or flat front, slight break or no break at all
5.) shoes: pointed, rounded, or flat tips

1) if it's a suit jacket then 3 look best, just a blazer then 2 w/ pants. no pocket square unless your going really formal.
2) french cuff with links
3) suspenders, depending on your body type I think they tend to look better on thin/athletic bodies
4) always flat front more flattering, and breaks depend on height. but usually a slight break
5) shoes flat tip's usually are more adaptable with jeans or khakis etc. but with a nice suit, pointed is sharper looking.

1.-4. I think depends on your size, what you're comfortable wearing and the formality of the occasion.

5. I think depends on what you are actually wearing and what you find comfortable.
