How is the rape, slaughter, disease and death brought on by previous (white) immigrants morally justified in this country?? Logically anyone against illegal immigration in today's world would have to be opposed to the wannabee "founders" that the pilgrims were. Do you agree?? if not why?



Oh and please don't say the Native Americans stole the land from the Neanderthals.

No amnesty- The pilgrims suffered??? What the pilgrims went through??? First of all they aren't my ancestors, maybe yours but not mine. You can take pride in your lieing pillagers. I myself will question unjust acts and not praise persons for your so called just suffering they went through, you might as well make your same case for the Nazis of WW1&2!!
 
It's simply justified by the fact that history is written by the winners. Yes, the American government has participated in openly genocidal acts against Native Americans in which more people died than in the Holocaust, but for obvious reasons this fact will never appear in children's textbooks. To acknowledge such a fact would mean that most of American territory would have to be given back to Native American tribes, and doing so is simply unthinkable.
It's pretty much the same situation as in Israel. Whether the Jews had the right to take the land or not, they're now in their third generation over there and any sort of retaliation at this point would be punishing the wrong people. At this point peace is the only option.
